Establishment of permanent Forum of the Balkan energy regulators

The regulators of FYROM, Greece, Montenegro and Serbia support the proposal of the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission to establish a permanent Forum of the energy regulators of the Balkan countries.

The initiative was discussed during the Regional Meeting of the Energy Regulators, held on 1 and 2 March in the town of Veliko Tarnovo. The aim is to harmonize the regulatory framework of the countries, which would lead to the implementation of coherent common policy for the creation of regional market of natural gas and electricity.
