The Regulator set new energy prices
At today's meeting, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) approved new prices for electricity, heat, and natural gas, which will be in effect from 1st July 2016.
Electricity prices for households remain virtually unchanged as the weighted average increase is only 0.04%. Prices for non-residential consumers at the regulated market decrease by an average of 10%. As a result of these two changes, the cross-subsidies between residential and non-residential users are limited.
The average price reduction in the District Heating sector is 2.5%.
