NCBWEC participates in the 24th World Energy Congress


The Bulgarian delegation - Valentin Nikolov, Alexander Nenkov and Venko Stoev, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Bogdan Kolarov attended the opening of the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi. The largest international energy event was opened by the UAE Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, who focused on the actions taken by his country in the development of the energy sector. The UAE's investments in nuclear and renewable energy are part of the transformation of energy into zero-emission sources, with a target of 50% of its total capacity. In addition, Minister Mazrouei gave an example of the largest solar park in the world - over 1 GW being built near Abu Dhabi.

The WEC Chairman, Younghoon David Kim also welcomed the participants in the 24th World Energy Congress and noted that since its inauguration in 1923, WEC has been a visionary organization that seeks to address global energy challenges.
